Hello i was thinking of buying battlefield 3 but i am not shure if it will work on my pc can you pls tell me if my computer can handle it

You are about right at minimum. So it will run like crap most likely, but it will run.

EDIT: And by crap I mean not actually that bad, you'll have to run it on the lowest settings possible and maybe turn down your resolution. But you could probably get an acceptable framerate.

Ah you are right, should have done a little more research. I figured they were around the same due to age, I wasn't into PC gaming a whole lot when those cards came out. My bad.

I hope you've upgraded bro, I don't think you will be able to run it with those specs, they're well below minimum... At least try to buy an 8800 OR 9xxx geforce. A 5xxx HD radeon will do fine, but we need to know what Mobo you have
