Can I run BF4?

Hello.

I've been to various sites that compared your rig to the recommended/minimum specs needed to run BF4, but I don't trust them enough to buy the game off their readings.

So I wanted a second opinion, here are specs.

AMD Radeon 7850 2gb ddr 5
Quad core A10 - 5800k processor
8gb RAM
Corsair GS600
A55MD2 motherboard

Notes:
I use a 1650x1050 monitor

I heard that mantle has been
introduced, but would it help?

I will be upgrading my processor in April, I have a budget of £120 so what would be recommended to buy?

and If you could tell me on what graphics settings and FPS I would to expect to get on them that would be appreciated

There is currently no processor you can "upgrade" to, if you want better performance you are going to need to buy an aftermarket cpu cooler and overclock.


7850 2bg ultra settings @ 1650x1050 = 32fps average.

So yes you can run it, but you are going to tone down settings to get playable fps.

High with some medium settings probably.


As for mantle, it is made specifically for peeps with lower end cpu's. So it should give you a boost.

Good place to start, i believe fm2 uses the same mounting hardware as AM3 for cpu coolers.

Just be aware of your case size and ram height before buying anything.

I believe a lot of people use the hyper 212 evo and get good overclocks.
