Can I run BFV at preferred settings?

I want to upgrade my GPU to a GTX 1080, I wish to run BFV at ultra settings at either 1440p 60fps. Would I be able to do it? If not what about 1080p? Also would getting a GTX 1080ti be overkill for 1440p ultra? Thanks!

Current rig GPU: GTX 970 CPU: Intel i7 4820k 3.7GHz Mother board: ASUS x79 sabertooth Ram: 16gbs

How would we know how well an unreleased game is going to run?

Can’t know for sure... but a 1070 does 1440p ultra in the 80s, so would seem likely a 1080 would do BFV above 60 since its still Frostbite (with updates).

Best bet is to just wait and there will likely be a new series of gpu’s by then.
