can i run borderlands

can i run borderlands on low/medium graphics with minimal lag and a decent frame rate?

I am running an i5 540m with intergrated graphics, 8g ram and at 1366x768

well.. the DVD case says..

recommended 2.4GHz cpu or so
2GB RAM
8x DVD drive
8GB HDD space
GPU Nvidia GeForce Series 9 or Radeon R700 or better

I am not sure what you will get w/ the onboard (Intel?) graphics...

As an owner of the i3-380m I can say that you will most likely not be able to play the game every well, I can play dead rising OTR with about 10 frames per second max at 800x600 all details off, and Orion: Dino horde at 15 fps at about 500x300 with all settings turned down to min. I also cannot play Just cause 2 because of a direct x (10 i belive) fatal error so it looks as if it is considered DX9

I can run games like burnout paradise and far cry 3 on low with a little bit of lag
