Can i run good gpu?

What will happen if i succesfully install and then use gygabyte nvidia geforce gt710 ddr5 2gb, on my 4gb ram, amd athlon 64x2 4200 (if im not mistaken) 2,2ghz and 450w psu? Will it bottleneck the pc or worse, destroy it or EVEN WORSE ...NOT EVEN RUN (My parents will streight forward kill me if they buy me this and its not working ) sooo guys pls tell me everything i need to know..i really like this gpu and if it succesfully run i will make all my friends go crazy cuz they are saying "maaan it will never run, its too good for your shitty pc, hahaha no chance it will destroy your motherboard..." etc D sorry for the long tread.

If that is an AMD FX-4200 Quad-Core...I think it will bottleneck the 710 badly.

I think you need to look at slower video cards.

It is a very slow processor.
Unfortunately, you aren't going to be able to add a powerful GPU with that processor.
