Can I run GTA 5 on 30 fps or close.

I have a pentium g640 2.8 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, ASUS GTX 960 2gb at 720 or 1080p resolution, can I run GTA 5?

there were apparently issues when it was first released where it refused to run with anything less than a quad core so keep in mind it might not be officially supported

The CPU used in that video is the new Haswell Pentium G3258 with a 4.4Ghz overclock , not a 2.8Ghz G640 like the OP has.

Hmm. You are right. That could cut the performance by as much as 40%, depending on where the bottleneck is vs the video.

It will, but it will run poorly, i would not go below an i3 for any gaming build in general.

Yeah, you're going to hit a really bad CPU bottleneck there. I wouldn't be surprised if you drop to around 15FPS in the more crowded areas of Los Santos regardless of what settings you choose. If you can afford it, look for a Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge i5 that is on your motherboard's CPU support list and upgrade.
