Question can I run gtx 750 on g31 Motherboard

I have E8500 cpu and ga-g31m-es2l motherboard along with 4gb ddr2 RAM, but I am not really sure if the gpu will work perfectly without any problem

Make and model of your PSU as well as it's age? If it's a prebuilt, list it's SKU.

Yes, it should run fine. If the GPU doesn't get detected, try doing a BIOS update.
All it will come down to is testing your GPU using benchmarks to confirm whether its performing well enough for you and whether it's stable.
