i have asus z370-f motherboard. but i can't find the damn screw. it has something like this below pic(google image) which can hold ssd in position. is it ok to run like this?
There is a certain tension required for a m.2 device to properly hold against the socket contacts.
The correct screw size is 2.0 x 3mm (CM2x3-3.3).
Go to a hardware store and you should find one.
Do not buy one that is too long.
Why not get a screw for a few dollars and then install it? Or find something that may fit. Heck, even the geek squad desk at a BestBuy should have a bunch.
