Can i run my gtx 970 xtreme gaming gigabyte with this psu?

Sirtec - High Power EP-500BR II, 80+ Bronze, 500W can this psu run a i5 3330 with a gtx 970 gigabyte xtreme gaming 4gb , 8gb ram.Or should i upgrade to a Seasonic S12II-620 Bronze 620W?

...the +12V rail is just adequate. But I would not OC with that PSU. Sirtec is one of those manufacturers that supplies both good quality units and junk. Hard to say which one that is.

Oc is out of discussion... but on nvidia site they say that a 600w psu is recommended, do you think the upgrade is necessary , i don't want to damage my rig over time.

With a 970, I would recommend getting a slightly better PSU, something like an EVGA SUPERNOVA 750W PSU.

But yes, upgrading to something like the Seasonic 620W would give you more headroom.

I wouldn't do a 500 and try to power anything higher than a 960. I recommend 750W for a 970, especially if overclock is something you plan on doing.
Try the EVGA Supernova line, I have a similar rig on a Supernova, but my rig has a super overclocked GTX 780 and an i5-4690K, and if I remember correctly, the 780 draws more power?
