[SOLVED] Can i run my ram at 3200mhz in Asrock B365M Phantom?

Hello all,
I decided to buy Asrock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 9th Gen Motherboard.
Instructions given by the motherboard manufacturer about ram is :
Supports DDR4 2666 / 2400 / 2133 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
Supports ECC UDIMM memory modules (operate in non-ECC mode)
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 2.0

Meanwhile i want to buy Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 8GB DDR4 3200MHz Ram.

Processor: i5 9600k

My question is :
Is it possible to get 3200mhz with this mobo? Even with xmp profile?

Believe me Ram frequency doesn't matter for Intel! Even if you won't active the xmp it would be still fine.. What is your purpose?

You cannot run 3200 speeds with any non z intel chipset. Also, a 9600k is pointless, in a B365, as it cannot overclock.

Well I'm also building pc for Music production mainly.. But I'll also use Adobe Premiere pro.. Lightroom.. Photoshop...

I'm confused between i7 8700 and Ryzen 5 3600! 😷

As I know in this kind of productivity we shouldn't OC.. Stock speed is a sweet spot!

Btw you could also look on i7 8700 besides go single core performance it has hyperthreading something important for your job!

The 8700's cost, being what it is, I would probably not consider one. For $20 more you can get a 3700x. You get 8c/16t, and a far better stock cooler. Or save money and get the 3600, and throw a cheap $20 Deepcool Gammaxx 400 on it. Price/performance, the 3600 is really nice.

Well in my country i7 8700 + iGPU and Ryzen 5 3600 with 1050 is almost same price..
Then which one should I take?

I'll upgrade gpu in 4-5months into 1060 6gb

Yeah.. Im confused between i5 9600k and i7 8700. Considering the budget, will go for i7 8700 as it has more thread and better workstation performance.

If the graphics are just to get you a display, you could go with a cheaper card, like a GT 710. You won't be gaming on intel's HD graphics, really. I would check and see if your particular programs take advantage of quick sync. If they do, then the 8700 is the way to go.

Yeah.. In premiere Pro with hardware acceleration i7 will run more better than other.. As I know.. One of my friend is using i7 8700k .. And he is satisfied with that...

Well i7 8700 has better single core performance too which is important for DAW like Cubase !

Can I use i7 8700 for 4-5 years easily?
