Can i run my tv @60hz while monitor is @144

So my tv is 60hz and can only be connected to my pc via hdmi. I duplicate my display, but it locks my 144hz monitor down to 60hz. Is it possible to have two different refresh rates?

When duplicating, I dont believe so.
If you do extended displays the refresh rate shouldnt be locked.
