Can I run rust with just 4gb ram? My specs are in thread

Hello! I bought rust a little while ago on an old laptop and it ran just fine (It was an amd laptop with 8GB of ram) But! I just built my first gaming rig and I wanted to play rust but sadly everything was super laggy and nothing rendered correctly (My friend has same spec as me and he has no problem but he has 8GB of ram)

My specs

I3-2100 @ 3.10 GHz
MSI H61M-P31/W8
Zotac Geforce GTX 750 TI 2GB Edition OC
4GB Ram @1333 MHz
An SSD, can't remember the name of the top of my head
450W PSU Antec

Is this enough to play rust in all honesty? Even at like medium settings?

Crank everything down to the lowest setting, it would only be playable like that.

Make sure your monitor is connected to your graphics card and not your motherboard. If you're using the integrated graphics, that might well be the cause of your problem.

Other than that, if it is a RAM issue, all you can do aside from getting more RAM is to close all background programs and disable as many processes as possible to optimized your RAM usage.

The minimum ram for a PC is 8GB, you really want to get another 4GB ram stick, there very cheap, and you will note considerable performance while gaming.

This actually helped a lot and i also got a new stick of ram and i am now able to play at med settings with 60-65 fps im fine with med Thank you.
