Have an older AMD Radeon HD7700, 1GB GDDR. Older Dell XPS 8500 with i5-3350P @ 3.1GHZ.

This is an office computer (no gaming of note) but I'm concerned I won't be able to run the new two 27" Dells. Looks like their native resolution is 3840 X 2160. Graphics card has two mini-DisplayPorts so I'll use those with new Displayport-mini Displayport cables.

I think the Radeon is limited to 2560 X 1600....is that correct?

Not opposed to a new video card, but the XPS8500 doesn't have a ton of space. And if I buy something I'm hoping it could come with me to my next desktop, it's almost that time...

New card would need to be silent or nearly silent, please keep in mind this isn't for gaming.

thanks in advance!

How about this one?

EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 SC ULTRA GAMING GDDR6, 04G-P4-1257-KR, 4GB GDDR6, Dual Fan, Metal Backplate

Has 2 Display Ports, smaller size so it can fit in my XPS 8500 case. And the 460w power supply that I have currently should work as the card is only 75w TDP.
I think that is a good choice.
It does not take a lot of power to run at 4k with 60hz. I do that on a GTX750ti.
Unfortunately, that card has only one dp output.

I dont think the hd7700 will be able to handle 2 4k monitors. if u want to then u shud use the money for one monitor to buy a new gpu even if its not high end.

yeah, that's my fear.

Dual monitors is required for what I do, so budget isn't a worry. Seems like most graphics cards are meant for gaming, I really need something that is more high-end office usage (just running dual 4ks with nice picture quality).

Solution
hey, for reference sake...
i built an office computer for my mom last year.
i used an AMD Radeon HD 7750, 1gb vram.
Shes running 3 monitors on it. One is 1080p and the other two are both 720p.

She has no problems but i think the discussion has already pointed you in the right direction; this card powering two 4k monitors is gonna be rough.

If price isnt an issue splurge on the 1660! the +2gb of extra vram will make multitasking and jumping from app to app and from screen to screen a lot smoother, especially in the long run.
