Hello,

I'm planning on building a new PC and was wondering if I would be able to use my old GPU (PowerColor - Radeon R9 270X) in addition to my said PC. If it's at all possible, how many watts are required for my PSU?

My Build:
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700 3.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI - X470 GAMING PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAM: Team - Vulcan 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
SSD: Samsung - 850 Pro Series 256 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
GPU: Asus - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB Phoenix Video Card
PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Solution
Your Supernova should be fine. I presume you are going to use the 1050 Ti for gaming and the 270X for a 2nd monitor. Btw, the 1050 Ti is only a small step up in performance from the 270X. But probably twice the VRAM if the 270X only had 2GB.

The build is mainly for editing 4k videos. From time to time I'll be gaming as well. Do you think I should just get PowerColor AXR7 370, that way I can bridge the two? or any other recommendations?

Xfire will only be beneficial in gaming. And then only if the game recognizes Xfire and is optimized for Xfire. Plus, lower end cards like the 370 are more prone to micro-stutter in Xfire. As a result, I would not go that route.

Actually, you may be a little light in the GPU dept. for video editing at 4K depending on your software. Normally the CPU does all the work, but there are exceptions. Check out this piece for some information. My video editing knowledge at 4K is limited. I'm still living in a 1080p world.
