Can I run this Graphics card with a 300 Watt Power Supply?

Solution

Yes you can run it on that psu, and no you don't need no pcie cables! Total power draw on that card is 60w, pcie slots are rated at 75w. You are good to go, plug and play. Make sure you have an available x16 pcie slot. Good Luck!

uh.....wat lol can you clarify please?
I just know its 300 watts and cable? the GPU doesnt need external power i belive if thats what your getting at

Can you post the brand and model of your psu? Do you know if its 80+ certified or not? If it is, you are fine. You need minimum of 20 amps on the 12v rail.

If you meet the minimum requirements for the GPU, it SHOULD be ok. Keep in mind this also depends on Mobo/CPU as well as other components in your computer, which all will draw power from the PSU. I have seen computers power down under heavy load in scenarios of this nature. Also another thing to keep in mind is that the closer to the Max Output of the PSU you are operating at, the harder it has to work, thus shorter longevity. Add one of these to your purchasing plans(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438016), and you will have no issues.

its a 300W uATX reg PSU (Gamay)

Solution

MnmCarlos, this particular gpu does not required pcie connector from power supply. Also, only rated at 60w, so the pcie slot itself will power this gpu just fine.
