If I'm posting this in the wrong section, I'm sorry, but couldn't find a dedicated section for Monitors...
First question: Working on a new i7-860 build with 5850 video card. I'm looking to run dual monitors. I currently have a 17" Samsung and I'm looking for something in the relm of a 20+ inch widescreen (1920x1080 or 1920x1200) and looking for suggestions on a clean looking monitor with great picture.
I don't need audio and really only need DVI, but other inputs would be nice...
The other question is, in a dual monitor setup, can the video card run two monitors with two different resolutions. So, lets say I keep my 17 at 1280x1024 and run another monitor at 1920x1080 next to it... is that possible and is moving windows from screen to screen still seamless (no stretching/skewing)? Most dual monitor setups I have ever seen are usually with identical screens so I can't comment...
