Can I run Windows 10 in Virtual Box on an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 / Intel 3570k?

The BIOS (up to date) says that VT-d is not supported, but that VT-x is supported. Intel Virtualization Tech is 'enabled' . Hyper-V platform doesn't even show up in my Windows Services options. I have an Intel 3570k CPU. I am having a tough time finding an answer.

When I run VB, It does not give the option to run any 64-bit OS's. only 32.

Thanks.

Doesn't really matter, I have a lot of VM's I use for development and "32bit" versions are usually lighter that's why I use them.

You sure can, I run a Windows 10 32bits in a [strike]shitty[/strike] MODERATOR EDIT i5, assigned only 3gb RAM and it runs smooth.

Thanks all! I'll give the 32 bit a try. WHat is the difference between VT-d and VT-x? Apparently it is because my CPU doesn't support -d (the fact that it is a "k" version is the reason).
