For a while now screen would go into a rapid horizontial lines and mass together so that it appeared to be solid. this only happened if I left an open page on the screen and it went into sleep mode. to get it normal I could hit ESC or SPACE rapidly and it would clear-up and work fine. A few weeks ago a high pitched whine satrted coming from it; but power down PC and it came back fine. The other day it just died after and episode. It power on now but screen is black and color bars show as rapidily scrolling. If fixable I'd like to try and save it.
