Hi guys I have a Pc
So I got a Windows update that basically broke my Windows (bad update)
That was about a year ago and I couldn't figure out a way to fix the Windows (I didn't have the disk because it was installed for me when I got my pc build for me and they didn't bring the disk -_-)
It was a year later so the shop ofcourse didn't have the disk anymore
So my neighbour gave me a disk so I could get Windows but it wasn't unlocked (ofcourse it wasn't but at the time I was a newbe)
Now he's going to give me a usb which has it unlocked already but if I install it it will also format my harddrive which I don't want because I have a lot of games installed and my internet isn't the fastet (on the location my pc is placed tho...)
So he's going to give me some program to make a partition
So if I back-up some of my files (the important and/or big ones)
Will I be able to install Windows to my C drive then and have the files still on my D drive or will it format the whole drive ?
(Sorry for my englisch it isn't my primary language)
Greetings Rubet
