[SOLVED] Can I Shock or Electrocute my self when building a PC?

I am going to move my prebuilt pc into a new case. I am scared I may shock or electrocute my self while doing so. Is their any chance I could be harmed building and un building a pc?

No, not possible (unless you open up PSU and touch PSU insides with your fingers while psu capacitors are not discharged yet).

But you can damage your pc components quite easily with ESD (electrostatic discharge) from yourself, if you're not carefull.

Do you intend to open up PSU ? I'd strongly advise against that. There are no serviceable parts inside.

To discharge PSU capacitors, you disconnect psu from power and press power button on pc.
