Please someone respond asap for me I'm not trying to be pushy but I have a chance at an affordable hybrid card i need to know if SLI it with my current ACX 980ti is doable and also if its worth it my mb is ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming so the PCIe slots arent both full 16x they would diminish to 8x/8x.

Solution
Depends on the CPU you're running, as well as if there are any other power-hungry peripherals. If you're running a dozen GT's on some crazy water cooling set up, some cathode ray tube lighting, a whack ton of HDD's, and an FX9590, probably not. Otherwise, 850W should be enough. Obligatory YMMV here.

If they're both 980ti's, I don't see why they wouldn't work together. IIRC, the only real requirements for SLI is they be the exact same GPU die (and VRAM quantity).

I would recommend you put the hybrid card on top of the ACX card, leaves the air cooled card more breathing room.
