Can I split a LED header?

Hi! I don't know whether this question was previously posted! But I couldn't find it.
So I will make it short & sweet.

Can I split & connect 2 LED's parallelly into a single (POWER or HDD) LED header in a motherboard?
If this goes wrong, would this demage my MOBO?

(Motherboard - Gigabyte G41M-COMBO)

Yes. No damage will be done unless you short out the pins (even that probably shouldn't cause damage).
