I still have these parts in new condition. Can I make something fancy with this or is it better to buy a whole new PC?
I would prefer to buy a new motherboard for the Fractal case, but I don't know if it can still be found for a reasonable price?

SSD: 256GB M.2 NVMe.
SSD: 256 GB Crucial MX100
HDD: 1TB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4600G + cooler
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200
PSU: Corsair CX650F
PSU: CoolerMaster V450 Semi-Modular
GPU: Gigabyte GV-N970WF3OC-4GD -
PC Case: Fractal Design Node 304 - - mini ITX.. liggen.

$100-130 for a new AM4 Mini-ITX board.

Would certainly use the CX650F rather then the bargain V450.

Don't really need a GTX970 for an office PC, 4600G is plenty good for normal video tasks, even light gaming.

Depends on what exactly you intend to do.

Do you need WiFi? 5, 6, 6E, or 7? Are there any external storage options that you might want fast USB ports for? Do you want greater than 1Gbps ethernet?

I generally draw the line at B550 when looking at AM4 boards, the occasional B450, but then you have to make sure that it has BIOS flashback in case it doesn't support the 4500G out of the box.

For general use I would probably look at this board:

This one has an extra M.2 slot, 2.5 Gbps ethernet and WiFi 6.

My fears in this build is that if you don't have a selection of various AM4 CPU around you could run into issues with BIOS revision for generational changes.

For sure try to find a motherboard with the BIOS flash function that can be used without CPU and RAM. Alternately, check the support page to be sure the base BIOS level supports that CPU.

I am not an expert in this matter myself. Would the B550 not support the 4600G by default or do you know a board that definitely does?
