Howdy great peeps,

I am using and intend to keep using Windows 7 on my 'older games' backup PC.
However, can I still utilize Windows Update for it after the retirement in 2020?

If I should happen re-install it, or such.

Much regards

Probably not.
The Updates will probably cease after that Jan 20 date. Security and otherwise.

Possible solution:
In the weeks just before Jan 14, do a full clean install. Run ALL the existing updates.
Using Macrium Reflect, create an Image of the fully updated Win 7, and save this for later.

This will serve as both a fresh reinstall, and be updated with whatever the absolute last updates exist.
