Question Can I stop the battery from charging while the laptop is plugged in?

I want to get a similar effect to removing the battery, but without actually doing it since it takes a wile and some screws to undo.
The purpose of this is to keep the battery healthy when I use the laptop for longer periods of time and it is plugged in.

What laptop? I’ve had a few laptops that came with apps that allowed you to do this. My current Dell G5 has this, I have it set to stop charging when it hits 80%.

I did and found nothing related to power/battery

Ok, not sure if there is any other way to achieve this. Not that I know of.

I see. Thx anyways. Seems like there is no external program which can have access to stopping/starting charging the battery.
