Can I store a game mod on my phone then put it on my desktop?

I have a very limited connection so I have to download the mod on my laptop then -eventually- put it on my desktop. I have a GS3 if that helps.

I do NOT have a direct laptop to desktop connection (physical or wireless).

Just access your phone through your computer and put the files in there, you can make a folder if you want to keep things neat.

you dont need to know "where to put it"; you need to know "where you put it".
You can put it anywhere you want, just remember where for when you go to take it off. <grin>
