Question Can I switch between cards to save power and wear?(Like laptops)

I have an rx 580 and a quadro k600 i want to use the 580 for preformance heavy games, but want to switch to the k600 when ever possible (to avoid running it for exessive amounts of time ) Kind of like how laptops do it with integrated graphic cards. Is this possible , or even worth it ??

Don't bother, just run the rx580, there's nothing to be gained by swapping over cards.
