Can I switch ports with new cloned drive?

My current Win7 drive sits on a 3GB/s port. I want to get a new 6GB/s SSD and put it on the faster port. Is Windows gonna allow this to happen?

Yes, you could probably swap it to the port you wanted and it will still boot provided that you have set the boot priorities correctly in your BIOS.
