Can i take graphics card on a plane?

Hello guys, I've visited Canada for holidays and as it turns out pc hardware is cheaper here than in Greece. I just want to know if a can take the gpu in the bag i carry with me during the flight. Thank you guys in advance.

Should be able to, but you would want to check with whatever airline you are going to be using since security standards are different place to place. If you can bring a laptop in a bag, you should be able to bring a video card, but the issue is that you can't really turn on the video card to make sure it's not a fake bomb and to a security person it just looks like a bunch of electronics that can be anything.

Does not matter, it's not hard to re-seal things to make them look new and security will know that. Check with the airport security and airline.

Will the cost of shipping it to your home will ruin the savings of getting it abroad? if not it might be a sensible option.
