Right now I'm without a computer because I broke my cpu and I need a replacement. I already have a socket 775 motherboard so I decided to get a C2D. Could I run my memory with a divider so my C2D is at stock and so is my memory or will my memory not even fit/work in my motherboard.

No, the DDR memory will not work in a MOBO that uses DDR2 slots.
DDR = 184 pins.
DDR2 = 240 pins.

There are some MOBOs available with slots for both DDR and DDR2 but, if you did not order one of these then you will not be able to use the DDR memory.
