can I transfer info to new hdd

I am building a new pc with new hdd and new mobo. My os is gonna be on ssd. Is there a way to transfer my games from my old hdd/mobo to my hdd/mobo? I know I cant plug new hdd into new mobo and have all the info still there.

Most of the time, your applications will not work when they are transferred over.
You can try to find a program that will clone your drive, meaning it makes an exact copy of your old drive, overwriting your new drive.
