I have looked at the QVL (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X470 Taichi/index.asp#Memory) for my x470 Asrock Taichi motherboard but from what I can tell, there is no dual channel DDR4 3200 MHz (2 x 8 GB) in the QVL. I have come across an unofficial ram compatibility list from Userbenchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/Asrock-X470-Taichi/87079) that lists several dual channel DDR4 3200 kits that have worked for other users. I want to buy one of the ram kits on the Userbenchmark because they are dual channel so that I can use it with my Ryzen 3600 CPU. Do you think it would be safe to buy one of the RAM kits on the Userbenchmark list?
I will also mention that I'm choosing to go with the Asrock x470 Taichi motherboard because I don't want to have to deal with fan noise/issues of an x570 motherboard. I have already used two Asus Tuf x570 boards and on both I can hear the fan and it is really annoying. It wasn't super loud but the fan was loud enough and running at a frequency that I just couldn't deal with it anymore. Even with the other fans running in my build, I still noticed the x570 Asus Tuf Gaming chipset fan. I considered a Gigabyte x570 board but the Aorus Elite doesn't have great user reviews and the bad VRMs of the MSI x570 boards make me want to stay away from them.
