[SOLVED] Can I Unformat My Micro SD Card From Portable Storage & Reformat It To Phone Extension?

I bought a Kingston Canvas Select Plus 128GB Micro SD Card a while back for my LG Stylo 5. When I first got it, I just needed it for pictures and videos. But now I am running out of space even with the card holding all my videos, so now I need it to be an extension of my phone. The issue is I can't find a reformat option. I have looked through settings and dug around the internet a bit and have yet to find any information on how to troubleshoot this. I even formatted it on my Win11 laptop but my phone just saw it as a corrupted card and only let me reformat it as portable storage.

Is there anything I can do that you may know of? Any places you could point me to where I could find answers if you don't have any? I really need to reformat it as an extension to my device so anything tidbits will be much appreciated

It may be only showing "Portable Storage" because it has something on it already and it thinks you want to keep it that way. Try removing the partition on the SD card first (https://www.diskpart.com/delete-partition/delete-partition-on-sd-card.html)
