I just got my mobo and cpu. I have a Ryzen 5 1600. I'm concerned my motherboard, Gigabyte ab350 am4 Gaming 3 ATX, doesn't have the latest bios version to run my processor. Is there any way to flash the bios and use the processor?

Please help. Thanks!

There is only 1 way to find out and that is to put it together, if it doesnt work, then either your ram is not supported, or the bios needs an update to support the chip, in this case, you would have to send it back to where you brought it from and swap it for a different board, or ask the shop to update the bios for you.
I don't know. Hence the post. I'm building my for system., and I'm making sure that I dont encounter any unexpected issues. I will build the system this week. I'd heard that if the CPU is not supported in the bios, I can't use it unless I update the bios...but I dont k ow how accurate that is. I've got people telling me that it should support the CPU out of the box. At this poi I've no clue.
