[SOLVED] Can I upgrade a Mac OS 10.6 to 10.14?

Would I be able to upgrade a Macbook Pro OS 10.6 Snow Leopard to the OS 10.14 Mojave?
Does the potential OS upgrade depend on the hardware within the MacBook Pro I intend to purchase?
Are there any other requirements for this potential OS consideration and if possible, would there be several intermediate OS upgrades between 10.6 and 10.14?

I dont know the year of manufacture of the laptop. My research indicates that this laptop meets the hardware required to run the 10.14 OS. I am trying to buy the laptop to run the current TurboTax program only. The sellers of the laptops dont tell the year the laptop was made and the laptops are sold ad refurbished and were probably obtained from a government or school supplier. Thank you.

It's a 2010 MacBook so the latest it supports is High Sierra not Mojave
