I have a an external 4TB G-Tech G-Drive that I am using off a mac mini running as a server. The G-Tech drive acts as a Time Machine Backup, but I was wondering if I could take the 4TB drive out and upgrade it to 10TB?
10TB USB externals drives are common, but I only have so many ports available and they are being used. I would like to keep using the Thunderbolt 2 port for this drive, I just want to add more backup space.
If I could add a 10TB HD to the G-Tech I could use it for a little longer and not have to throw it away.
