Hi all. I recently found out I can upgrade my old HP Pavilion P2-1343w PC. I wanted to see if I can upgrade it to a decent low end gaming PC if its possible. I heard it can be done. Just enough to run WoW or Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn and maybe a few games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 if possible with mods or Skyrim and Minecraft?

Sorry if I am asking for much. I also play Populous The Beginning, here are my PC specs. And I know that Populous the Beginning doesn't support the current graphics cards that I have. I plan to stick with AMD for awhile. So I just wanted to upgrade is all. I was hoping if anyone can tell me what I can do from here.

AMD Radeon HD 7340 Graphics
AMD E2-1800 APU with Radion(tm)HD Graphics (2 CPUs) 1.7GHz
System Model-1343w
Bios 8.07
1TB HDD
6GB.

Is it possible to turn this PC into a gaming PC? I read some where on the HP Website that you would have to change the Motherboard and CPU and the graphics card. Or am I better off just building my own AMD PC? Thank you. I wanted to see if I can make it into a PC that can play Blurays and watch Netflix in anime in HD. Thank you. I want to play Battle for Azeroth this expansion too. I am seriously tired of not being able to raid lol. Thanks if anyone can give me any advice if I can upgrade an old PC like this or not. I have had this one for along time so I didn't know if I can upgrade it or not. If someone had the same PC and they upgraded it, is it highly possible to do so? I am not happy with this PC at all. Not getting very much speed on it. I'm getting a job soon so I think it's time to upgrade or use little bits of money and upgrade some parts just enough to play some of the games I want the most if that's possible or is that just a big dream? Thanks if anyone gives me any advice. :) Or can I upgrade the HP Pavilion and the 6GB and install a bluray and a new graphics card in it that supports HDMI? I don't know how much the 6GB supports up to. Thank you again. Sorry if this sounds like a pointless dream lol. xD I wanted to try to upgrade to one of the newer AMD graphics cards so I can switch from WoW possibly over to A Realm Reborn and play some decent games for once. So I don't know how that would work. Sorry if I sound like I'm being cheap. Just wanted to know if its possible to upgrade a hunk of junk like this until I can afford a decent PC. Thank you.

Solution
The general problem with trying to do a major upgrade on a pre-built PC, is that the manufacturer uses proprietary size components and cabling. It means that standard ATX, mATX or ITX motherboards and power supplies may or may not fit in the case. Considering the age and very low end CPU, you're probably better off buying or building a new PC.
