Hello everyone.

My girlfriend is a fond player of Sims games and Sims 4 is due out soon. She played The Sims 3 on a HP Pavilion which is not old at all. The game ran ok with a little slow down in build mode. I am wondering if I can upgrade my Pavilion G6 at all, and if so, what should I upgrade to allow for a better gaming experience on The Sims 4?

The Sims 4 min specs are as follows -

OS: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, or Windows 8.1

PROCESSOR: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent) MEMORY: At least 2 GB RAM

HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games

DVD-ROM: DVD ROM drive required for installation only

VIDEO CARD: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better, Intel GMA X4500 or better

SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible

DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c compatible

INPUT: Keyboard and Mouse

I would rather not buy or build a new PC as this is the only game played. HP laptop specs are as follows

OS - Windows 8.1 64-bit

CPU - AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon HD Graphics

RAM - 7.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 672MHz

Motherboard - Hewlett-Packard 216B (Socket FT1)

Graphics - Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
768MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7600G (HP)

Storage - 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10JPVX-60JC3T0 SATA Disk Device (SATA)

Optical Drives - HP DVD-RAM UJ8DB SATA CdRom Device

Audio - Realtek High Definition Audio

Anything I can or should upgrade? And if so what to?

Thanks in advance.
