Can i upgrade intel t3200 to intel p8700

I have a Toshiba Laptop, L355-S7831, with a Dual Core T3200 processor at 2.0 GHz. I'd like to find out if I can upgrade the processor to the Intel Core Duo P8700 Penryn 2.53 GHz processor. Thank you for your help on this.

Not with a 667Mhz FSB. I honestly doubt your gonna get that high with a current processor of that speed, highest your looking at would probably be a T3400.

Your running a GL40 chipset with a mobo designed for a GL45...the fastest FSB you can have i beleive is 667mhz...
