Can I upgrade my Acer computer's graphics card to a 1050ti?

I own an Acer aspire tc-705 which comes with a gtx 745, i7 4790 and 300w psu. I checked the best card for 300w and found myself the 1050ti but I was wondering if it was compatible with my motherboard. Oh and someone told me I can't use low profile 1050ti which I don't understand why.

Well from some quick searching it's compatible as long as it is one that doesn't require a 6 pin cable and depending on length. You should measure first. I don't see why a low profile one shouldn't work though.
