Can i upgrade my Core i5 2410m on my lenovo e420?

I was wondering if i can upgrade my core i5 2410m cpu on lenovo E420laptop to a newer version ....if so what are my cpu choices?i heard that the sockets should match so i cant just put any cpu in there so help me pliz

Unless you can find the I7 for a steal, it's really not worth it.
