i have a HP compaq 6200 pro MT pc and im not sure if its motherboard supports an i7 3770 because my friends told me my limit is an i7 2600k but i cant seem to find it anywhere, all i can find is an i7 3770 so i really want to know because its kinda running out on amazon and i want to get a good deal before its too late.

Thank you.

Is it this? https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02779499#AbT1

One thing I'm always cautious about with prebuilts is they are likely to be limited in upgrade paths. What I usually suggest is sticking to the original configurations, eg. the i7-2600 in this case, as they made it with this processor in mind (and the BIOS would accommodate it). Anything not part of the original configuration I would consider a risk.
