I have a Dell Optiplex 790 DT (https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex-790-tech-guide.pdf), with a 250W power supply and a max wattage on PCIex of 35W.

I want to upgrade it with a GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/gigabyte-gtx-1050-ti.b3912).

Im not buying anything, i already have the 1050ti and my Opti790 is running with one GT 730 (https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/gt-730-zone-edition#spec).

I already saw a few people claiming they have the opti790+1050ti and it work fine.

Should i switch cards?

Is there any risks of damaging my card with less power than requires?

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for your time!

Solution
Those have a 95W CPU limit so the 75W GPU should be OK with 250W PSU. The DT's don't have room for a lot of other stuff to power.
I suggest 12GB RAM for a 4GB GPU.
I would say the MB would be the part at risk, and for $30 you could have a spare.

The 35W limit has been ignored by many users, on many Dell systems. But the risk is always your own. I've never heard of it being an issue FWIW.
The real problem is you need a low profile video card for a desktop computer. So you have some more shopping to do.
