[SOLVED] Can I upgrade my Dell XPS 8700 motherboard?

I just found out that the PCIE x4 slot on my motherboard actually only is wired for x1. I really need a x4 slot for the 4K Black Magic capture card I just ordered to work. Is it possible to put another motherboard in that would have a x16 slot for my graphics card and a x4 slot for my capture card? It would be great if I could just swap my CPU, Ram, etc off. All I need is a x4 slot, everything else works fine.

Can anyone recommend a motherboard model, etc..

Ok I just figured out that the XPS 8900 motherboard will fit. I think the CPU has to be changed. I guess that would be the easiest thing.
