I want to upgrade from a RTX 1650 TI to a RTX 3060 gpu, as my gpu I currently have cannot run VR games plus it's a bit dated. Here's some specs that might be useful.
Processor: Intel i5-10400F CPU, 12 Cores
8 GB of Ram (gonna likely upgrade to 16)
I've got some sort of acer baseboard, not sure.
I've got some more info, this PC Is Prebuilt, its a Acer Nitro N50 - 610, the PSU i'm not 100% sure of what but if you look up acer psus or acer nitro n50 - 610 psu you'll find something likely.

I would think so. Also you may take a look at the rx 6600 or the rx 6600xt. Not sure of your area but in the USA they cost a bit less than a 3060 but are similar in performance except ray tracing. The 6600 will be slightly slower whereas the 6600xt should be a closer match.

In that case it likely needs replaced before a gpu upgrade. Not sure how feasible on your pc doing that is since many of the systems they build proprietary these days so they can be harder to upgrade.
yea, my PSU is 500w, requirement for 3060 is 550w. Luckily I can find a reliable PSU at 550w for $100, and the 3060s these days despite being really good, are only $400-$500 on alotta markets, my only question is that is my intel i5 12 core cpu gonna be okay with that kind of gpu?
