I have an older PC with an i5 and am trying to play fortnight and maybe some other games.

It currently has a Intel HD 2500 card and I can't run fortnite with anything under HD 4000.

Can I upgrade the card to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660? Or NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 VERTO 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0?
What card do you recommend in this price range that I can upgrade too?

Sorry I have very basic knowledge and as much as I try to help myself sometimes I get lost. Thank you!

I found that your PC has a 300 watt PSU, which isnt really great news and limits what cards you can run. Im having trouble find if you can actually upgrade the PSU so I wont comment on that.

I will say you could get a low power card such as a GTX 750ti or something more recent a GTX 1050ti (as long as it doesn't require a 6pin power connector) like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-GeFor...297363&hash=item365d145287:g:7Q0AAOSwm6xeP1~N

That's just one example I found randomly. Basically just make sure the card doesn't have one of these as I'm not sure if your PSU has a pcie power cable and I would also apprehensive using anything that draws more power with a...
Where are you located and whats your price range?

Also another limiting factor will be your computer power supply. If this is a pre-built such as a Dell or HP please list the model number. If you are unsure of that or cant find , open up you computer case and look for the power supply and see what it says on the label.

Okay thank you very much all of that was very helpful. I will open up my case and check the PSU out. I'm trying to understand all this, it seems fairly straight forward but I know this is an old machine. I may just stick to Xbox haha
