Can I upgrade my graphics card for this motherboard

I have an quite old pc that was really good back in the days and since it's still working fairly well, I'm thinking about improving it a little bit. So I decided to buy a new graphics card with at least 1gb memory if possible.
Can anyone tell me what graphics card can I upgrade with these specs?

Motherboard : MSI K9N2 Diamond
Processor : AMD phenom 9650 quadcore 2.30Ghz
(current graphics card : Ati Radeon HD 4800 512mb)

It has a pcie x16 slot, three of them in fact

your cpu is super slow however

a gt 730 or such would be about max


make sure the motherboard bios is up to date and your power supply can handle it
