Hi,

I have a doubt about my laptop:

Can I upgrade my HP 255 G7's RAM? It has only 4 GB and I found this video where this guy upgrades his Hp 255 G7 's RAM from 8 to 16 GB. Can I upgrade mine from 4 GB to 8GB (2x4 units)? Or even from 4GB to 16GB (8x2)?

Can you also check if the Crucial memories I linked are compatible? I think so, everybody on the internet use them to upgrade their Hp 255 G7.

In this video, another guy shows only how to open the laptop to upgrade ram, and if you skip at minute 1.30 he shows a 4GB memory.

I haven't opened my laptop case yet.

Specs:

Motherboard model:84AC
Motherboard chipset: K15IMC
Ram 4GB ddr4
GPU: Amd Radeon R3 (integreated in the CPU)
SSD:256 GB
CPU: AMD A4-9125 from 2.3Ghz to 2.6, dual core
IDProduct:7DB74EA#ABZ

Thank you guys!

You found a video online, and also checked online if the RAM would work, and found that it works, there is really nothing new anyone else can add.

If you want to make sure you get the right RAM, go to crucial's web site, plug in your laptop model number and get the RAM is lists for you.
