Can i upgrade my laptops APU (A4 3300m) to either an A4 A10-4600m or a8 3500m?

Is is possible to swap out APUs on a laptop if they have the same socket type and draw the same amount of power as my current a4 3300m APU, provided that it isnt soldered into the mobo?

The answer is...maybe.

It looks like they might but that doesn't necessarily mean that the motherboard supports the upgraded versions. As noted in the article, there are two FS1 sockets - FS1 and FS1r2 which are physically the same so the APU will fit but they are not compatible.Check with the laptop manufacturer for which APU's your specific machine supports.
