Can i upgrade my Laptop's CPU or GPU?

Hello I have a pretty old Asus ROG g74Sx and it has i7-2630QM and a GTX-560M is it possible to upgrade it by sending it to ASUS?

I'm sure such a device is well out of warranty, plus the parts are in all likelihood soldered to the motherboard... You'd be better off buying brand new.

they discuss the CPU changes here. seems pretty straightforward.
